What it is:

The Brass Spa Practice Mute is made of a specially designed plastic with a cork ring to hold the mute in the bell.

What it does:

This mute allows players to practice effectively when a practice mute is necessary. It plays in tune throughout the low and high register without de-tuning the horn. It has very little backpressure.

How it works:

The combination of the materials and the shape of the mutes air column allow for the least amount of blowing resistance possible while still muting the trumpet enough to be practical.
